Helen Norene Cameron LouAllen, age 95 was called to her eternal home on October 13, 2017. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Lawrence Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Pleasant Ridge Holy Church of Christ with Jamie Suggs and Jimmy Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Born to Joseph Newton and Melinda Lue Simmons Cameron on October 27, 1921 in Flat Rock, Alabama, Mrs. LouAllen was a devoted wife of 64 years to Jerry LouAllen. She is survived by her nine children, S.G. LouAllen, Hurschel LouAllen, Mary Borden, Margaret Dixon, Larry LouAllen, Janice Welch, Harold LouAllen, Randall LouAllen, and Ronnie LouAllen. She was a proud grandmother to 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband; her parents; one grandson, Brian LouAllen; seven sisters, and nine brothers. She lived her life with a devotion to God and her family. She loved working in her flower and vegetable garden and her home was always filled with family and friends.
