Helen Mourine Brown McKinney, 86, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, Al. She was born in Belmont, MS to Odis and Hazel Pruitt Brown and was retired from Blue Bell. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Red Bay, AL.
Services will be Wednesday, January 5, 12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Micah Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two nephews – Michael Powers (Donna) and Jeff Powers (Anna) and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston McKinney, her parents and a sister, Mary Powers.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 5, 10-12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
