Mrs. Helen Moon Bates entered into rest February 9, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. The funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Sterling Boulevard Church of Christ, Sheffield, Alabama 35660. Evangelist Shawn Bernard is the eulogist. The remains will lie in state from 11 a.m. until hour of service.
Survivors include seven children; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; nieces; nephews; cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
