Helen McPherson Boyd, age 83 of Huntsville passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020.
She is survived by her husband Deward G. Boyd, Jr.; sister Ann McPherson Newberry Parent; and nephew Bill Watson.
She was a native of Marks, MS, and moved to Huntsville in 1967. She retired from the U.S. Army Missile Command and was a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she received her Master’s Degree.
Visitation is Wednesday, February 26, 2020, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Marks Cemetery in Marks, MS.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
