Helen McIntyre Howard Pollard, 87, of Florence, passed away December 9, 2015. She was a member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ, Ladies Bible Class, a graduate of Coffee High School and Northwest Shoals Community College. She was a member of the Florence, Ala. J C Ettes, charter member of Beta Nu Chapter, member of Episilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, served as Philanthropic Chairman, was a retired Registered Nurse, and a distributor of Viviane Woodard Cosmetics.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 12 – 1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bryan McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Pollard was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Howard; father, Rufus Smith McIntyre; mother, Bessie Lee Olive McIntyre; daughter, Ginger Lou Howard Moody; son, David Brook Howard, Sr.; brother, Jack Howard McIntyre; and sister, Joyce Ann McIntyre Dobbs.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy P. Pollard; children, Stephen Lee Howard (Ann), Robert Gary Howard (Donna); brother, Ralph McIntyre (Janet); grandchildren, Elizabeth Michelle Lovell (Curtis), Robert Todd Howard (Ashley), David Brook Smith, Jr., Christian Lee Smith, Monica Lou Placentia (Sergio), Rachel Nichole Fellers (Paul), Steven Shane Moody (Holly); great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Cameron Lovell, Tucker and Addie Howard, and Ana Felicia Placentia.
Pallbearers will be Steve Moody, Todd Howard, Shane Moody, Paul Fellers, Curtis Lovell, Mitchell Lovell, Drew McIntyre, and Tanner McIntyre.
