Helen Mathis Dooley, Waynesboro, Tenn., was a homemaker and member of the American Legion Auxiliary and departed this life on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tenn. at the age of 77 Years, three months, 25 days. Survivors are Susan Gallian (Mike), Waynesboro, Tenn., Deloris Lansche, Duluthi, Ga; sons, William Paul Dooley (Marilyn), Collinwood, Tenn., David Mark Dooley (Dale), Waynesboro, Tenn., John Scott Dooley (Renee), Nolensville, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother; Edward Earl Mathis (Patty), Waynesboro,Tenn.; sister, Judy Ann Ward (Dan), Waynesboro, Tenn.; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Ed and Lucille Lacher Mathis; and husband, William Dooley. Services will be Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tenn., with Bobby Pinckley and Mitchell L. Skelton officiating. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tenn., with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Shane Ward, Daniel Dooley, Dallan Lansche, Joseph Stotts, Ben Gallian, Willian Gallian, and Jeremy Holt. Honorary pallbearers will be Dalton and Colton Dooley, Allen Mathis and Howard Davis.
