Helen Marie Smith, age 92, of Athens died March 21, 2026 at Athens Health and Rehab. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith, infant daughter, Teresa Smith, five brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Angela Whitworth of Athens and Wanda Borden of Madison, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28th at Roselawn Cemetery with Jonathan Ivy and Josh Autrey officiating.
