Helen Madene Dillon Jernigan was born March 25, 1936 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Claude and Verble Locke Dillon. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company and was a homemaker. Helen was a member of the Rosecreek Sanctified Church.
Mrs. Jernigan departed this life on January 15, 2016 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 9 Months, 21 Days.
She is survived by her children: Charlotte Ann Brooks and husband Anthony of Selmer, TN, Janet Cunningham and husband Dale of Eads, TN, Tommy Jernigan of Selmer, TN, Mark Jernigan and wife Miranda of Ramspein Air Base in Germany; a sister, Elizabeth Smith of Selmer, TN; eight grandchildren: Blake Jernigan, Kelsey Jernigan, Kristin Brooks, Whitney Brooks, Cody Cunningham, Haley Cunningham, Brady Jeringan and Harper Jernigan.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jernigan was preceded in death by her husband, William Quinnie Jernigan and a brother, Willie Dillon.
