Funeral service for Helen Hardin Thomas, 80, will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Phillip Hardin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery in Falkville. Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thomas died on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at her residence. She was born January 10, 1934, in Morgan County to James Travis Hardin and Mattie Louise Simmons Hardin. She was a member of Fairview Church of God. She was married to her husband, Bill, for 62 years and worked in the Falkville School Lunchroom, retiring after 19 years of service. Her parents preceded her in death.
