Helen Gelene Sammet, 96 of Athens, Alabama, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Limestone Health Facility.
Mrs. Sammet was born March 3, 1927 in Limestone County, she was a member of the Church of Christ and she was a homemaker.
There will be a 11am Graveside Service Saturday at Germantown Cemetery with Donnie Rogers officiating.
Visitation is Friday 6pm until 8pm at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Survivors: Sons: Barry Sammet of Athens and Daryl Sammet of Athens; Daughter: Susan Romero of Athens. Eight Grandchildren; Seventeen Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Husband: Charlie Sammet.
