Mrs. Helen Geanette Johnson age 78, of Saltillo, Tn. went to her Heavenly home May 5, 2023. She was a beloved Wife, Grandmother and Aunt to many nieces and nephews who loved “Aunt Net” dearly. She was born August 2, 1944, in Henderson County to the late Hobert and Lela Petty Beecham of Henderson County. She was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church and retired from Leroy Somer. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved to watch her wildlife from her back porch. She leaves behind a loving husband- Bill Johnson married October 26, 1963. Together they share almost 60 years together. She is survived by two grandchildren- Emma Johnson and Caleb Johnson (Tessa), bonus family at heart, Nicole Montgomery, Chase Montgomery, Madison Montgomery, Lexi Montgomery and Cannan McPeake. She was preceded in death by her son Kevin Johnson. In addition to her parents and son, she was preceded in death by siblings; Lourine (Kenneth) Ervin, Pauline (Jack) Grissom, Gertie Beecham, Hazel Duck, Katherine (J.R.) Williams, Howard (Betty) Beecham, Curtis (Evelyn) Beecham, Irean (Troy) Keen and Jean (Willis) Hudson.; Pallbearers are Bobby Jones, Warren “Buddy” Beecham, Randall Keen, Sam Williams, Joey Keen and Larry Beecham, Honorary Pallbearers- Terry Beecham and Murrell Johnson. Visitation will be Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Pafford Funeral Home, Lexington, Tn. 4:00pm -9:00pm and Monday May 8, 2023, from 8:00am until time of service at 4:00pm with Bro. Sammy McAdams officiating with burial to follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery.
