Helen “Elise” Swinney age 78 of Spruce Pine, passed away, August 8, 2022.
Elise above all was a Christian, as well as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Phil Campbell.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Swinney; children, Laura Voyles (Randy), Amy Ayers (Heath); brothers, Howard Jackson (Jo), Elmer Jackson (Kay), Bill Jackson (Rhoda); grandchildren, Brandon Voyles (Charity), Joshalyn Voyles, Jacob Ayers, Kaylie Hamby (Dalton); great-grandchildren, Cole, Nolen, Ava and Leighton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 12noon until 2pm with the funeral service following at 2pm, in the Chapel of Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville. Bro Darryl Butts and Bro. Brandon Voyles will officiate. Interment will take place at Liberty Hill “Southside” Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randy Voyles, Jacob Ayers, Heath Ayers, Dalton Hamby, Robbie Tidwell and Barry Cook.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
