Helen Elaine Nottingham Vick, age 79 of Greenbrier passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier. The family will receive friends 10am until the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Brian Dean, Jason Shoumake, Daniel Hunter, Chris Moore, Kris Stewart and Zach Jones serving as pallbearers.
She was born in Portsmouth, VA on July 6, 1941 to the late Francis Marion and Mary Nottingham. She was also preceded in death by husband, Woodrow Wilson Vick II; son, Woodrow Wilson Vick III and sister, Mary Frances Barnes.
She was a homemaker and loved her family very much. She enjoyed her cat, knitting, crocheting and watching TV.
She is survived by daughters, Vicki (Randy) Shoumake of Barren Plains, Edie (Scottie) Dean of Greenbrier; sister, Lee (Paul) Saur of VA; brothers, Larry Nottingham of Waverly, TN, Nick (Pauline) Nottingham of Waverly, TN, George (Pat) Nottingham of VA and nephew and caregiver, Raymond Morris; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
