Funeral service for Helen Delain “Lannie” Parker Adams, age 71, of Trinity will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Adams, who died Monday, March 24, 2025, in Cape San Blas, FL was born April 2, 1953, in Alabama to Harvey and Mattie Lee Parker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Hershel Parker (Shirley).   Lannie was a fierce and faithful wife, mother, and follower of Jesus Christ who loved and protected her family without fail.  The unconditional love she showed to her family and friends was unmatched and she tried every day to lead people to Jesus through that love.  She loved listening to Christian and gospel music and always had a song on her lips, lifting up the name of her Heavenly Father.  Though one of the defining characteristics of her life was her work ethic, in her retirement, she doted on her grandchildren, loved spending time in the yard, and continued to work so that she could shop for both.  Her favorite Bible verse was in Philippians and it’s one that she would want each of us to remember:  “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do:  and the God of peace shall be with you.”

She is survived by four sons, Matt Adams (Teri), Boone Adams (Charsie), Scottie Kelsoe (Rosie), and Stacy Kelsoe; three brothers, Willard Parker (Mary Lee), Ferrell Parker (Marie), and Randall Parker; two sisters, Nesi Keel (Doug) and Traci Hopkins (Robbie); and four grandchildren, Pyper Adams, Mattie Adams, London Adams, and Lincoln Adams.

Pallbearers will be Boone Adams, Tyler Stephenson, Ethan Hopkins, Tyler Elliot, Parker Henson, and Gaylon Parker.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
