Helen Clark Patterson, 91, of Lester, passed away on Monday, December 19th, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Patterson was born on August 18th, 1931, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to John C. Clark Jr. and Hyacinth Edwards Clark.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her son Michael L. Patterson (Cindy); daughters Marsha G. Patterson (Jeff Carroll) and Myra K Patterson; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; brother Butch Clark (Sondra); and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Thomas Howard Patterson; a daughter; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Mrs. Patterson will be Thursday, December 22nd, 2022, at 10:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00-9:45am at the funeral home. Burial will be at New Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Patterson was a Red Cross volunteer all her life, and a proud blood donor. She was an employee of Cutler/Hammer and involved with West Limestone High School. She was a devoted Christian woman, faithfully attending Salem Church of Christ and Craig’s Chapel Church of Christ
