Helen Carr Browning Profile PhotoFuneral services for Helen Browning, 95 of Corinth are set for Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST with interment in Highland Baptist Church Cemetery in Tishomingo, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Kathy Ellis and Minister Duane Ellis will officiate the service. Born June 8, 1928 in Tishomingo County, MS, Helen passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Dogwood Assisted Living. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired bookkeeper for Biggers Hardware. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, working crossword puzzles, working in her flower garden, playing cards and cooking. Helen is survived by her daughters, Diane Eubanks, Linda Mathis (Lee), Kathy Ellis (Duane) and Patti Meyer (Greg); 10 grandchildren, Browning Meyer, Matt Ellis, Rob Scott (Kelsey), Wendy Gilmore, Shelly Rhyne, Stephen Rhyne (Courtney), Lesa Beaver, Larry Mathis (Angel), Samantha Talley, and Saul Ellis (Becky); 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harold “Red” Browning; son-in-law: Winston Eubanks; grandchild, Shea Ellis; great grandson-in-law, John Gilmore; great great grandchild, Clayton Sheppeard; father, Linton W. Carr; mother, Erma Pennington Carr; Brother, Bill Carr; special aunt, Corella Edwards; and her parents-in-law, Bud and Daisy Tennyson Browning. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Helen Carr Browning.
