Helen Atkins Kennedy, age 96 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away April 20, 2026. She was a member of Whitehouse Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Vance Hutton and Byron Longcrier and Sydney Kennedy speaking. Burial will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Ms. Kennedy is survived by her children, Randy Kennedy, Kody Kennedy, Kyle Kennedy and Leah Campbell; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Zella Orieta Atkins; husband, Grady Kennedy; sons, Danny Kennedy, James Kennedy and Kenneth Kennedy; and siblings, Jerald Thomas Atkins, Rachel Layton and Willow Dean Barnett.
