Heddy Thompson, 93, of Hartselle, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2018.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Dr. Allan Lowman will be officiating. Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her children, Judy Borden (Wayne), Ricky Thompson (Linda), Mickey Thompson (April), Pam Kelley (Jerry); nine grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Mattie Lou Braswell; her husband of 58 years, JW Thompson; daughter, Kimberly Jan Thompson; five sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Thompson was born May 11, 1925. She retired from Prestolite in 1987, but her greatest accomplishment was being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Roselawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
