Hazelene Henson Hendrix, 85, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Shoals Hospital, Muscle Shoals, AL. She was born in Alabama and was a homemaker. She was a member of Belgreen Baptist Church.
Services will be Saturday, October 21, 12 noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Loyd Ray Griffus officiating. Burial will be in Dempsey Cemetery, Russellville, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and a lifelong neighbor, friend and caregiver, Gerald Ray Hester and his wife, Kathy Hester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carnie O. “Dick” Hendrix, her parents, Albert M. Henson and Esther Bolton Henson and two brothers, Albert Henson and Herbert Henson.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 21, 11 a.m. – 12 noon at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
