Hazelene Ballenger Stevens, 84 of Twilleytown, passed away Monday April 22, 2019. She was a homemaker; a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of East Walker Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be Friday April 26, 2019 at 11:00 in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Barry Bennett will officiate. Burial will follow at Shanghi Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie A. Stevens; parents, Pious and Ludie Ballenger; sisters, Mardie Phillips, Joy Mae Phillips and Doris Butler; stepmother, Mary Foster Ballenger and stepsister, Mavis Peters.
Survivors include her children, Michael Phillips and wife Doreene, Kem Phillips and wife Renea and Kay Cooper and husband Earl; stepson, Michael Stevens; stepdaughter, Vicky Akridge and husband Aubrey; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers, Lecil and Dick Ballenger; stepsisters, Mary Ellen Clark and Nancy Weldon; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
