Hazel Willis Holt, age 82, of Waterloo, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021, after a brief illness. Hazel was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a devoted member inside of her church, Cloverdale Church of Christ. Hazel Holt was selfless and she always put other people first. Hazel loved working in her yard and fixing anything she could.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 12:30 – 1:30 pm at Greenview Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in Cloverdale Church of Christ Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, Eldred Holt; parents, Emmett Willis and Mary Amy Hayes Willis. She is survived by her son, Bobby Holt (Lisa), Athens, AL; daughter, Paula Holt of Waterloo, AL; grandchildren, Michael Reed, Waterloo, AL, Julyn Posey and Miranda Posey, both of Athens, AL, Christopher Oritz and Jessica Oritz, both of Littleville, AL, Sabrina Ledford, Brandon Ledford, and Jesse Wilson, al of Florence, AL; great grandchildren, Autumn Oritz, Littleville, AL and Jaxtyn Posey, Athens, AL.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
