Hazel O’Mary Boney, age 82, of Tuscaloosa, AL, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Wofford Cemetery, Bro. Matthew Paul to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00pm until service time at 2:00pm.
Hazel was born in Marion County Alabama on October 11, 1936 to the late William Clarence O’Mary and the late Rethie Harris. She attended Marion County High School in Hamilton, AL. Hazel previously worked at Emerson Electric in Vernon, AL. She was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed quilting, gardening, fishing, and taking care of her grandchildren.
