Hazel Laverne Morris of Lutts, Tennessee passed from this life on September 11, 2024 at the age of 86 years, 6 months, and 4 days. Mrs. Morris was born March 15, 1938 in Lutts, TN to the late Jesse “Bid” Kilburn and Charlcie Pearl Johnson Kilburn. She was united in marrage on April 15, 1965 to Johnny Ray Morris, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Morris enjoyed the springtime, listening to gospel music, thrift shopping and being a “Memaw” to her two grandchildren.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her only daughter, Amy Lambert and husband David; two grandchildren, Victoria Elisabeth Lambert; Andrew David Lambert all of Lutts, TN; one sister Peggy Lowe of Indiana.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by five sisters, Daurshie Harrison, Earlene Robbins, Lossie Nolen, Irene Foust, and Christeen Talley; two brothers, Verlin Kilburn and Bud Kilburn.
Visitation with the Morris family will be on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 14, 2024 beginning at 11:00 AM at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel with Camryn Eaton and Danny Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Lutts Cemetery.
