MADISON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday, August 5 has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, has claimed the life of a Hazel Green teen.
The 16-year-old was fatally injured when the 2012 Ford Fusion the youth was driving left the roadway and struck a tree stump. The youth was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Elkwood Section Road near Mason Road, approximately two miles north of Hazel Green, in Madison County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
