KILLEN-Killen Founder’s Day started on Friday, August 4th, at 6:00 pm with the parade in downtown Killen, and end at 10:00pm on Saturday, August 5th, after the fireworks show at Killen Park. The theme for the weekend was celebrating  the “25th Annual Killen Founder’s Day”.

There were Food Vendors, Arts & Crafts Vendors, Inflatables, Car Bash, Child ID Kits through the Killen Police Department, a book fair by the “Friends of the Killen Public Library” and much more…music, fireworks and a parade.

Everyone seemed to be enjoying the day and there were lots of happy folks there to help celebrate the 25th Founder’s Day in Killen.  The Quad Cities Daily was on hand to capture the event in photos.  Enjoy!
