Hazel Fern Moss, a devoted Jehovah Witness, of Fruitland, TN passed away peacefully at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN surrounded by her family. Hazel was born on December 13, 1935 in Crockett County, Tennessee to Clyde and Maybell (Maie) Graves of Humboldt, TN.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Moss of Fruitland, TN; son, Nathaniel Cook (Judy) Brownsville, TN; daughter, Susan Lytle of Humboldt ,TN; grandson, Matthew Lytle of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Elsie Leek (Herbert) of Brownsville, TN and Dorothy Kail (Freddie) of Cordova, TN; and a brother, Prentice Graves (Juanita) of Humboldt, TN.
Mrs. Moss is survived by two daughters, Melinda Smith (Greg) of Medina, TN and Janet Jackson (Gene) of Fruitland TN; ten grandchildren: Michelle Lytle of Milan TN, Pam Lytle of Medina, TN, Jerry Lytle of Kokomo, IN, Josh Youmans of Medina, TN, Jennifer Richardson (Curtis) of Brownsville, TN, Dustin Cook (Meagan) of McDonough, GA, Hunter Smith of Medina TN, Chris Jackson of Milan, TN, Joseph Smith (Reina) of Okinawa, Japan and Caleb Jackson of Fruitland, TN; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Hazel Fern Moss, age 86, will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home in Humboldt, TN with Kevin Cox officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 1 PM until service time at 3 PM.
Pallbearers to serve will be Jerry Lytle, Joe Smith, Josh Youmans, Hunter Smith, Caleb Jackson and Chris Jackson.
