Hazel Estell Satterfield, 93, of Ardmore, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at her home in Ardmore, Alabama.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Heard and Mary Ruth Hines Heard.
A homemaker, Ms. Satterfield was of the Christian faith and lived in this area all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Murphy Maloy, brothers: Franklin, Leon, Albert, and Clinton, as well as sisters: Irene, Olene, and Gertrude.
She is survived by her sons: James (Ginny) Satterfield, Larry (Charlotte) Satterfield, Bobby (Jaquline) Satterfield, Anthony (Rosemary) Satterfield, Michael Satterfield, Russell (Yvonne) Satterfield, and Benny (Theresa) Satterfield, daughters: Myra (Greg) Morrow and Vicki (Keith) Davis, sisters: Wilma Martin, Ola Kennedy, and Yvonne (Bob) McDonald, as well as 24 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation for Ms. Satterfield will be Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, with a funeral service scheduled for the following day, Monday, August 15, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. here at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. Bro. Greg Morrow will be officiating and Ms. Satterfield is to be laid to rest in Ready Cemetery.
