Hattie Luwanda Sizemore

Hattie Luwanda Sizemore, 67, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on October 18, 2021. She was born April 22, 1954, to William Bill and Ruth Helen Phillips Brown.

Luwanda was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Cullman. Mrs. Sizemore was blessed with many talents, and she enjoyed decorating her home as well as baking and decorating cakes. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, and she loved being outside. Luwanda enjoyed being in the sun, and she also liked to swim. She was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and found joy in being with those she loved most. Luwanda was loved by many, and she will be missed greatly.

Mrs. Sizemore was the widow of Ernest Lee Smith, and she was preceded in death by her parents as well.

Luwanda is survived by her husband, Mike Sizemore; son, Matthew and Sarah Smith; daughters, Candie and Mark Graham, Miranda Trotter; grandchildren, Hunter Graham, Westen Graham, Sreela Graham, Sofiya Graham, Reagan Smith, Bryson Smith, Connor Smith, Craig Smith, Peyton Trotter, Trey Trotter; several brothers and sisters; and a host of friends, neighbors, and church family.

Funeral services for Luwanda are 2 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021, at New Hope #2 Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the church, from 11 a.m., until services begin.
