Haskell J. Ross, Jr., passed away at the age of 76, on Monday, January 21, 2019.
Haskell was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, to Haskell and Frances Ross. He graduated from Decatur High School in Decatur, Alabama. Haskell studied at University of Alabama and graduated from Murray State University. He worked as a management consultant for Alpha Associates until retirement. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Fleming.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Whitmire Ross; his sons, Haskell, III and his wife, Kim of Lakeland, Florida and Michael and his wife, Elizabeth of Carmel, Indiana; four grandsons, Jackson, Michael, James and Henry.
Haskell was an Eagle Scout, member of Castleton Kiwanis, Southern Club of Indianapolis and a Life Loyal Tau of Alpha Tau Omega. He enjoyed following all his grandson’s activities and playing golf with friends. His favorite football teams were University of Alabama and whichever team played Auburn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 in Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis. Calling will be at the church at 10 a.m.
