Harvie Elmer Harris, 86, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, November 06, 2013 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Harris was a farmer all his life. He was always a friend willing to help. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend, who will be missed by all who knew him.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 08, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 09, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Tim Haney. The singer at the service will be Jackie Ergle. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Judy Ergle (husband, Eugene), Tammy Dodge (husband, Bruce), Reba Harris; son, Jessie Harris; granddaughter, Jessica Hart (husband, Gary); grandsons, Shane Ergle, Blake Dodge; great-grandson, Tristin Lee Ergle; brother, Gene Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florene Feltman Harris; parents, G.W. & Zadie Rosetta (Johnson) Harris; brothers and sisters.
The pallbearers will be Eugene Ergle, Shane Ergle, Tristin Ergle, Blake Dodge, Bruce Dodge, and Jessie Harris.
