Harvey Lyndon “Lynn” Simms, Jr., 82, of Tuscumbia, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019. His visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2019 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Carl Simms officiating.
Lynn was a veteran U.S. Navy Pilot. He always enjoyed dinner and fellowship with his ski club friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Katherine Simms.
He is survived by his son, Carl Simms (Amy); daughter, Kathy Simms Brown (James); three grandchildren, Skylar Brown, and Josh and Carly Simms; and special friend, Sarah Gifford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Tuscumbia.
