Harvey Lee Steele, 86, of Gurley passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Crestwood Medical Center. Mr. Steele was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Bostick Hill United Methodist Church and was a retired businessman. Mr. Steele is survived by his wife of 65 years, Charlotte Henshaw Steele, his daughter Judith Smith (Tommy), granddaughters, Kellie Osmer and Jessica Winn (Jimmy), great granddaughters Kaitlin Osmer and Kloie Osmer, and a number of other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00am at Berryhill Funeral Home with Reverend Jonathan Campbell and Reverend Doug Browner officiating. Burial will follow at Henshaw Cemetery in Estill Fork, Alabama. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
