Harvey J. Butler, age 78 of Dora passed away July 29, 2019 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Empire Memory Cemetery. Jack Thorne will be officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Leonard and Ruth Butler; his brother, William Butler; his sons, Randy Butler and Andy Butler; and daughter, Annette Butler.
His survivors include his daughters, Judy Butler Compton (Clyde) of Hayden and Mallory Howard; son, Danny Butler of Dora; brothers, Roger Butler and Devon Butler; sisters, Janice Warren and Bobbie Kittle; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
