Harvey Glenn “Sonny” Moore, 73, of Athens, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014, in Limestone County. Mr. Moore was born October 26, 1940 in Limestone County to Wendell H. Moore and Cyrena Pever Moore.
Services for Mr. Moore are Friday, June 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Everett Conn officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Ross Moore; daughters, Sara Hobbs and husband, Marcus, Leslie Currin and husband, Bill, and Summer Harkins and husband, Austin; brother, Ralph Moore; grandchildren, Cody Moore, Mackenzie Hicks, Madeline Hobbs, Davis Hobbs, Ben Hobbs and Spence Currin; great-grandchild, Layla Bree Moore; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife, Sandra W. Moore; son, Scott Glenn Moore; parents, Wendell and Cyrena Moore; brother, Steve Moore.
Pallbearers are Marcus Hobbs, Bill Currin, Austin Harkins, Davis Hobbs, Ben Hobbs and Spence Currin.
