Harriet Newland, 86, of Huntsville passed away Monday.
Mrs. Newland was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church for many years, she was a designer for Albert’s Florist and was a previous owner of Gordon’s Florist.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James A. III and Katherine Gordon and their children James A. Gordon IV and wife Micki, Dylan and Taylor Gordon; son and daughter-in-law, Paul T. and Helen Gordon and their children Christie Garrett and her husband James, Johnathan and David Gordon; and daughter, Deborah A. Gordon.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor Garry Hogan officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
