  Harold Seaton Capps Profile PhotoHarold Seaton Capps, age 81, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at his home.

Born July 7, 1944, in Columbia, Harold was a devoted husband and beloved father and grandfather known for his love of storytelling, funny personality and his kind and generous heart.

He attended Central High School and later attended Nashville Business School where he acquired the skills to begin his successful career as a construction manager for Fluor Daniel and various companies over the span of 48 years. He married the love of his life, Linda Kay Green, in 1969 and would spend the next 56 years building a wonderful life together, and they have been reunited in death.

Harold is survived by his children, Amy Capps Graves, Rebecca (Joel) Ricketts, and Matt (Laci) Capps; and grandchildren, Lucas, Landon, and Ellie Ricketts, Arden Owens-Welch, and Asa Capps.

Harold was a living example of honesty, integrity, and reliability for his friends and family. A man defined by his faith in Christ and devotion to his family. He will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life.

Harold’s life will be celebrated with his family at a memorial service on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia with Pastor Mark Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00–5:00, with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Williamsport Baptist Church.
