Harold Hedrick – Obituary

Harold Hedrick, 93, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Mr. Hedrick was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Otis and Corrine Hedrick, his wife Helen A. Hedrick, and sister, Corrine. He was a World War II Army Veteran and attended Whitesburg Baptist Church. A graduate of Georgia Tech, Mr. Hedrick was an avid woodworker, committed member of Steady for Life, and extraordinary father and grandfather.

Survivors include his son, Mark Nelson Hedrick (Marsha); daughters, Kay Hedrick Carlisle (John) and Beth Hedrick Cook (John); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Monday at Whitesburg Chapel South Campus. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Dr. Jimmy Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitesburg Baptist Church Recreational Outreach Center.
