Harold Eugene Simmons, age 67, of Muscle Shoals died Thursday, January 7, 2016. Visitation will be Saturday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Sam Wallace of East Colbert Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Methodist Cemetery.
Mr. Simmons was a native of Lawrence County, a retired truck driver and attended East Colbert Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Gertrude Simmons and mother, Lorene Simmons.
Survivors include his wife of forty-nine years; Eunice Simmons; daughters, Eugenia Simmons and Tina Simmons, all of Muscle Shoals; brother, Kevin Hubbard (Deanna) of Littleville; sister, Olivia Hayes of Sheffield; grandchildren, Brandon Yates, Cameron Yates and Christopher Yates; special sister-in-law, Gloria Hammond and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers are Jerry Ray, Jerry Boyd, Jeff Ellis, Bradley Williams, Tyron Yates and Carl Yates.
