Harold Emery Cole, 71, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday, November 14th.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Seymour Cole; two daughters, Julie Cole Miller (John Robert) and Laura Elizabeth Cole; three grandchildren, Isabella Violet Ward, John Willson Miller, and Robert Cole Miller; and two brothers, Freeman (Sonna) Cole and Dwayne (Brenda) Cole.
He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Martin where he received a bachelors degree, and a graduate of Tennessee Tech University where he received his masters degree in Organic Chemistry. He retired after more than 20 years of service at the Boeing Company, where he was an Associate Technical Fellow. He built up and led the chemistry and microbiology laboratory at Boeing for air and water analysis for Space Shuttle and Space Station, working with NASA and the Space Station international partners and including support for the Russian space station MIR.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home.
