Harold Dean Scogin, 82, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, May 27, 2018. His visitation will be Wednesday, May 30th from 11 a.m. until noon at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at noon with Chris Biernacki officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Scogin was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a supervisor for Reynolds Metals.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Scogin; son, Terry Scogin and wife, Cindi; sister, Billie Jo Raley; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lindley, Dustin Rickard, Coty White, Chris Clemmons, Curtis Olive, and Bubba Lindley.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to all the sixth floor staff at ECM Hospital.
