Harold D. Barr, 94, of Lexington, passed away at his residence, Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Harold proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and is a Veteran of the Korean War. After is service he became a rural mail carrier. But his passion was in his time as a farmer. Harold will be remembered as a loving and devoted, husband, father and grandfather.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 10th at 11 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Barr is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Owens Barr; daughter, Elaine Barr, Brenda Hatala; son, Kevin Barr; parents, Okley and Verna Barr; sisters, Agnes Glasscock, Anne Rogers, Doris Taylor; and grandson, Forrest Barr. He is survived by his son, David (Candy) Barr; grandchildren, Andrea (Ellery) Francisco, Andrew (Paige) Barr, Daniel Barr, Christopher Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Elora, Evan, Brendan Francisco, Apollo, Elizabeth and Oliver Hutchinson; sisters, Marilyn Moore, Jane (Butch) Garner; son-in-law, Mike Hatala; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
