Buddy passed away on November 23, 2023, at his home in Joelton, TN. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on March 5, 1943. Buddy was one of eight children and the only boy born to Walter & Frances Binkley. Growing up in Nashville he met and married the love of his life, Janice Frost and together they raised a son Eric and daughter Tammy, surrounded by extended family.

Professionally, he loved to drive and spent many years driving tour buses for an impressive roster of Country Music Stars and other Entertainers. In retirement he continued driving escort vehicles delivering pools, a job he truly loved doing. Buddy was an avid NASCAR fan and rarely missed a televised race, having also enjoyed many in person during his years on the road. He enjoyed fishing with his wife, kids and grandkids and took exceptional care of his many “fur babies” over the years. He also took pride in maintaining the most “sparkling” pool in all of Cheatham County and generously opened it for all to enjoy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter & Frances Binkley; his sisters, Mary White, Judy Siemer, Patsy Richardson, and Shirley Cochran.

His is survived by Janice, his wife of over 60 years; son Eric (Vicki) Binkley; daughter, Tammy (Scott) Tubandt; grandchildren, Ashley Binkley & Tyler (Morgan) Binkley; great-grandsons, Landon Binkley and Brewer Binkley; sisters, Barbara Thompson, Janie Edwards, and Jodie Stewart.

The family is planning a celebration of life in the New Year.
