Harley Mattox, Jr., 61, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died Monday, March 11, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Mattox enjoyed playing the guitar. He went home to be with the Lord, and will be missed but not forgotten. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet Mattox of Tishomingo, MS; his mother, Marie Mattox of Nettleton, MS; two sons, Jesse Mattox of Tishomingo, MS, and Newman Mattox and wife, Misty, of Golden, MS; three brothers, Ken Mattox of Nettleton, MS, Harold Mattox of Saltillo, MS, and Norman Mattox and wife, Sheila, of Saltillo, MS; one grandchild, Jake Mattox of Golden, MS; and a niece, Heather Mattox of Saltillo, MS. He was preceded in death by his father, Harley E. Mattox, Sr.; a brother, George Mattox; and a sister, Linda Mattox. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Best Friends of Tishomingo – A Humane Society, 29 CR 176, Iuka, MS 38852.
