Harlan E. Pitcher – Obituary

Harlan E. Pitcher, 95, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. Mr. Pitcher was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Pitcher, and his second wife, Judy Pitcher.
He had a B.S. in Engineering from Michigan State University, Space Technology and Astronomy from UCLA, Executive Leadership from Brookings Institute and Program Management from the University of Tennessee. He retired from McDonnell Douglas Corporation after 46 years of service, and was a member of Calvary Bible Church.
Survivors include his son, John C. Pitcher (Peggy); stepchildren, Candy Walter and Mark Walter; brothers, Duane Pitcher (Norma Jean) and Neville Pitcher (Lois); grandchildren, Kelly Kassouf (Mike), Brook Ridgeway, Josh Walter (Kyndell), Kristen Marshall (Joseph) and Jamie Walter; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, January 7 at Calvary Bible Church, 607 Drake Ave. SE, Huntsville, AL, with a memorial service to follow at 2.
