Happy Jack Rhodes, age 81, went to be with the Lord August 8, 2025.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 12th from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 12:00 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tommy James and Brother Jerry Balentine officiating. Burial will be at Community Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jeremiah Hensley, Jimmy Pugh, Tim Rhodes, Robert Rhodes, Daniel Harvey, and John Gibson; Honorary pallbearers are Ray Creekmore and Spencer Haddock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Jasper Rhodes.
Survivors are his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Alice Rhodes; son, Tracy Rhodes and wife, Jessica, Daughters, Alisha Rhodes, Kim Harvey and husband Daniel; grandchildren, Dustin Blackstock, Brianna Harrison, Trace Rhodes, Kara Rhodes, and Track Rhodes.
Though “Daddy” may be gone his happiness and smiles will forever be with us.
Jack was born at home in the Zip City area of Lauderdale County, Alabama. He spent his entire career with Pepsi Cola in Tuscumbia, Alabama. He was the friendliest person. He loved selling scrap metal and was an avid Alabama Football fan. We would like to thank Park Rest Health Center for all the love and care they gave our Daddy.
