SHEFFIELD – Every year about this date, folks from The Shoals get the chance to hear music from Grammy winning song writers and performers Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham in celebration of Penn’s 83rd birthday. The Quad Cities Daily was on hand to capture the evening in Event Photos. It was held at Grace Chapel and was produced by Johnny Belew. With support from the Colbert and Florence/LauderdaleCounty Tourism Boards, the venue was packed with fans and well-wishers.
