Hannah Gretchen Overton Mayfield, age 62, of Florence, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025. A memorial visitation will be on Sunday, March 2nd, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Margie Overton; brother, Timothy “Tim” Medling Overton.
Survivors are her son, Jim Brandon Mayfield; daughter, Stacy Michelle Mayfield; sister, Tessa Berryman (Bill); brother, Gauis Overton (Mary); several nieces and nephews.
Gretchen was a member of Chisholm Hill Church of Christ. She loved cooking for her family and friends. She loved watching western movies and going to the beach. Her favorite color was very obviously “Pink”. She will forever be loved and missed.
