Alabama Music Hall of Fame Manager Dixie Griffin said that seating is limited for concert and tickets will go quickly.
“Hannah is an amazing artist and we are excited she is coming home to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame for a concert,” Griffin said. “Some people say we have so many great artists with connections and family in the Shoals because there is something in the water here. In Hannah’s case, it’s in her genes.”
Aldridge is the daughter of Florence-born singer-songwriter Walt Aldridge, who has written numerous country hits, including Ronnie Milsap’s “No Getting Over Me,” “Holding Her and Loving You” by Earl Thomas Conley and Travis Tritt’s “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde”. He is a former band member of the Shooters.
Hannah Aldridge, who grew up in the Shoals, has described her music as a Muscle Shoals sound with a throwback country influence. Many of the songs she writes are based on her life experiences.
“Hannah’s music is steeped in the sounds of Muscle Shoals and Nashville,” Griffin said. “It’s stark, personal and soulful. She is a great songwriter, singer and musician. It’s going to be a great concert at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame when Hannah comes home May 12.”
