Funeral service for Hal Sibley, 78, will be Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Shaddix and Bro. Clayton Speed officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church.
Mr. Sibley died on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born December 31, 1938, in Lawrence County to James Merrill Sibley and Maggie Luberta Smith Sibley. Hal was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hartselle. He was retired from Alfa Insurance after 33 years of service. While working with Alfa, he received several Super Star, All-Star and other various awards. He was owner and broker of Sibley Real Estate for 30 plus years. In his retirement, he was an avid farmer and a seller of hay. Hal was preceded in death by his wife: Ann Sibley and his parents.
