Haden Edward “Buddy” Brazeal, Jr., 62, having been born with a physical disability that affected so much of his life, he had a keen mind, sense of humor, and a colorful life. He loved his family and friends deeply, always remembering their birthdays and calling to sing Happy Birthday. He loved playing dominoes and joined his domino group several times a week. On Monday, March 6, 2017 Haden E. “Buddy” Brazeal, Jr. joined his mother, daddy, and sister, Bertha Lee Mize, who preceded him in death and carried him through the gates of heaven to meet Jesus. He was born March 27, 1954 to Haden Brazeal and Earline Yeager Brazeal. He grew up in the Tupelo area and worked at the Billups Service station. In 2015 he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He fought a hard battle to the very end.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 AM today, March 8, 2017 in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Lowell Walker and Bro. Mike Brazeal officiating. Private burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to service time. Condolences to the family may be e-mailed to hollandfuneraldirectors@comcast.net.
Survivors include his son, Brian Sinningson (Laura) of Tupelo; two daughters, Susan Winkler of AR, and Amanda Sinningson (Eric) of Tupelo; brother, Mike Brazeal (Vanessa) of Tupelo and sisters, Judy Bright (Jerry) of Tupelo, and Pat Chafton (Carl) of TX; six grandchildren, Jaheim, Malaysha, Eric, II, Danielle, Steven, and Savannah; his companion of 24 years, Lisa Sinningson of Verona.
Pallbearers will be Brian Sinningson, Phillip Russell, Eugene Dill, Joe Allen Sisk, Ray Dill, and Eric McGaughy. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Rollins and his domino friends.
